So I’ve come across a small spell of writer’s block. I knew this would happen eventually. I think it’s fear of writing the next chapter to be honest. A major tragedy in my life, then a loss of another sort happens in Chapter 12 so I think I’m mentally not wanting to finish chapter 11.
I’ll get over it eventually, I have to keep with my goal of finishing the draft by the end of this month, I just need to medicate and write one of these days.
Out of all of the things that have happened in the past decade or more, the next chapter covers two that have left me destroyed in so many ways I can’t even think about them without pain. Writing about them requires thinking about them obviously. I don’t want to attempt to explain them clinically, I want there to be emotion involved and for them to be well written. I’ll just have to reach down and grab ahold eventually and finish Walking Back to Me so I can get it on shelves, and move on with the life I’m trying to build.
